I came across this inspirational quote while reading this blog post about insecurity. This quote

Vincent van Gogh, of course, is one of the most famous painters of all time and his art has delighted generations. True to his inspirational quote, van Gogh was prolific. In an art career spanning less than a decade, he created around 900 paintings and 1,100 drawings. His work has been sold for tens of millions of dollars yet is priceless.
This motivational quote isn’t just about painting. It applies to anything that requires creativity, anything that requires us to put ourselves “out there,” anything that erodes our self-confidence. When in doubt, we should try anyway. And if our first attempt fails, try again. And again – and we might just surprise ourselves. Go ahead and create art.
